Let LS Wild Armory prove the barrel and start break in. We will shoot at least 50 rounds, documenting each shot after we get it on paper.
It usually takes less than 50 rounds to start breaking in the barrel and get a feel how a barrel will shoot. Preferred Barrels are known for tightening up groups after break in.
Have CONFIDENCE in your barrel right off the bat. We have all started shooting a new barrel/rifle and wonder if it is the barrel, stock, scope, rings, or one of the dozens of other reasons groups can be worse than expected. We use a test rifle that eliminates the variables. We know almost immediately that the barrel is shooting well.
Save TIME and probably MONEY. Because we reload our test ammo, the cost is barely more than you buying factory ammo to shoot. Our test ammo comes straight off of Hodgdon's reloading site and approximates velocity of similar factory ammo. We will shoot 10 rounds of a Hornady factory ammo and provide the group it shoots, but do not guarantee that every barrel will shoot it (though our experience is that it does).
No one is perfect, so you can AVOID the very rare lemon. LS Wild Armory guarantees the precision of the barrels we sell. But, who wants to get a barrel, start break in and then find out for some reason the barrel doesn't shoot. Bad barrels can happen, and barrel companies can be hard to deal with, because there are so many factors.
